Thats not greasing the groove. Now that you've tested your max, simply do 2-3 pull-ups 4-5 times a day, preferably with a couple of hours in between. Then, re-test in a week.

i am astonished that you all have managed to fully nerd out your workout logs. scaling? categorizing? you crazy nerds.

my workout today consisted of carrying many bundles of shopping bags from the loading dock to my sales floor, and multiple trips up and down escalators carrying armloads of clothes to alterations and shipping. :P

The idea with greasing the groove is to HALF of your max, a few times a day. So do sets of 2, not 5, for the first week. Also, 4 pull-ups was the exactly number I did the first time I attempted.

I also slept through football but it was game 2. Napped right up to Shanahan's 'take that playing it by the numbers' 2 point conversion. Which, robbed Phillip Rivers the chance to score a me an overtime touchdown :(

I'm planning on getting a pull up bar today. I assume ones similar to Sakamoto's is the way to go.

I'll do the beach workout any morning I can get there. W/Th/F most likely due to Krista's class schedule. The workout will have to depend on the previous day, but I need to get the running in whenever possible.

Afterward I ate a 3 egg and cheese omelete with a tall glass of Soy Milk (no sugar added kind) plus vitamins (B complex, fish oil, E).
